Last Race of the Season in the ADAC GT Masters Series
The ADAC GT Masters Series enters its last lap of the season. This year’s closing race takes place in Oschersleben, near Magdeburg/Germany. It will be the first time that ALPINA sends two cars to the start for an ADAC GT Masters race. After their big win at the Nürburgring, the quick combination of Andreas Wirth (GER) & Jens Klingmann (GER) are looking for more podium finishes in the #33 BMW ALPINA B6 GT3. Claudia Hürtgen (GER) is coming over from her successful campaign in the FIA GT3 championship, where she shares a B6GT3 as the permanent driver pairing with Csaba Walter (HUN). She’s led at a number of the FIA GT3 meetings, having raced every race in that series.
Claudia’s co-pilot in the #34 B6GT3 at this weekend’s ADAC GT Masters meet will be Maxime Martin (BEL), son of the ALPINA’s Belgian importer. He’s already won a race at the FIA GT3 Silverstone meeting earlier this year, driving a Morgan. Oschersleben will be his first opportunity to prove his mettle in the BMW ALPINA B6 GT3. Maxime and Claudia represent the second powerful pairing for the Buchloe race team.
In one week’s time, from the 23rd to the 25th of October, ALPINA will again field two cars at the FIA GT3 European Championship’s last meet at Zolder (Belgium).
